A concealed LED strip produces a soft line of light around the perimeter and visually separates the ceiling from the walls.

When to choose a floating ceiling

This solution works when lighting should be part of the architecture rather than a separate fixture. Perimeter light can be combined with spotlights, chandeliers, tracks and curtain niches.

Lighting design matters

Before installation we decide whether the LED is decorative or contributes to useful room lighting, where drivers will be placed and how they remain serviceable, and how the perimeter light works with the main lighting. Colour temperature, strip power and dimming requirements are selected to suit the room.

Floating LED projects are premium solutions starting from $60/m². The final cost depends on LED length, profile geometry, drivers, room perimeter, main lighting, niches and special junctions.

• ventilation, AC and technical access.
